Traditionally, yearbook printing would be printed on a gloss or semi-gloss satin paper finish with a glued edge spine and thicker cover. 

We recommend printing on your choice of 150gsm (satin or gloss) for magazine type finish. Thicker 350gsm + celloglaze (for protection and resistance) is added to give the books the perfectly robust feel to last for years to come.
